Is anyone else tired of the people who go “Well, Dragonball is so much better than Sailormoon!” or the other way around? I am! I happen to be big fans of both of the anime but I don’t see how you can compare the two. Dragonball is at the OPPOSITE end of the spectrum than Sailormoon. Some  elements of Dragonball are better (yes I said it!) than some of the ones in Sailormoon. The fighting scenes are so much better in Dragonball. Wanna know why? Because Dragonball is a fighting anime!! Sailormoon is shoujo (magical girls) anime. And because of that, some elements in one anime will be better than that in the other. Dragonball has a tendency to DRAG things out. It takes like 10 episodes to get through three minutes of the plot. Sailormoon gets on with things faster than Dragonball, but Sailormoon also has a lot of filler episodes. In my opinion, Sailormoon has a lot more elements in it than Dragonball. The relationships between the characters are rather deep. In Dragonball, it’s just fight fight fight! I think both anime are rather unique but I just don’t think that you can compare them. One is aimed at boys and the other is for young girls, come on now. How different can you get? Anyways, they are both outstanding anime and BOTH Naoko Takeuchi and Akira Toriyama should be praised for their work.
