cheerfulSailormoon
Ai to seigino, sailor fuku bishoujo senshi, Sailormoon! Tsukini kawatte, oshioyokiyo! (For love and justice, I am the sailor suited pretty warrior, Sailormoon! In the name of the moon, I'll punish you!)

Tsukino Usagi was the first senshi to be found by Luna…or rather she found Luna, ne? Luna gave Usagi a golden brooch, because Usagi wouldn't listen to her and thought she was dreaming. The brooch gave Usagi the ability to transform into the Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon when she shouted Moon Prism Power, Make Up! In the first series, Usagi whines and cries, but as the series goes on she becomes MUCH better. Usagi is also known as Princess Serenity, the heiress to the Silver Millennium. Also Neo-Queen Serenity, who rules 30th century Crystal Tokyo with her hubby, King Endymion (present day Mamoru). They are the parents of Princess Usagi Small Lady Serenity, or Chibiusa. ^_^

Sailormoon is the strongest of the senshi. She also the most caring. She even feels for her enemies (i.e. Neherenia, Galaxia, Fiore, etc.) In the first series, she had the attack Moon Tiara Action in which she takes off her tiara and it turns into a golden disc which she threw at her enemies (hopefully slicing them in half ^_^) In the manga it is called Moon Frisbee. Luna gives Usagi a transformation pen which allowed Usagi to transform into anyone she wanted (in the manga, Usagi beat the pen out of the Sailor V game ^_^;) Later, she gets the Crescent Moon Wand, which gave her the attack Moon Healing Escalation (a very powerful attack when needed) When Usagi was discovered to be the Moon Princess, the Maboroshii no Ginzuishou (Illusion's Silver Crystal) appeared. The Ginzuishou has the power to destroy a star. When activated it looks like a flower. Unfortunately, when it's full power is released, the Ginzuishou tends to kill the person who used it as it takes all of their energy (Queen Serenity) If enough power is put into the Ginzuishou, sometimes it will bring people back to life.

In the R series, Usagi's tiara quit working and her brooch shattered. Queen Serenity gave her a new pink brooch (with the Ginzuishou concealed inside) and a new rod called the Cutie Moon Rod. Now she had the attack Moon Princess Halation. Now Usagi transformed with Moon Crystal power, Make Up.

In the Super Series, Sailormoon is powered up, yet again. This time because the Ginzuishou's light went out when a daimon bit her brooch and her Moon Princess Halation was too weak to destroy the daimon. In the anime her new brooch and rod came from Usagi and Mamoru's love. Usagi transformed with Moon Cosmic Power, Make Up. (My favorite transformation ^_^) and she had the Moon Spiral Heart Attack. In the 2nd part of the Super series, Usagi's uses the Holy Grail to power upto Super Sailor Moon. Her attack while in Super form is the Rainbow Moon Heart Ache. At the end of this series, Usagi is proved to be the Messiah. If you have ever wondered about those white thingys in her hair, well they are actually darts but she only used them once in the manga.

In the SuperS series, the Pegasus powers up both Chibimoon and Sailormoon. In this series they transform together with Moon Crisis Make Up. Sailormoon gets the Moon Kaleidoscope, and the attack MoonGorgeous Meditation. In the manga, Chibimoon had this attack too, but in the anime all she gets is the Twinkle Yell. Hmm, can we say gypped?

In the Sailor Star series, Usagi is powered up one last time. This time to Eternal Sailormoon (with wings! They don't seem to do much other than knock stuff off of tables…but oh well. ^_^) Eternal Sailormoon is the senshi born from the love of the other senshi. She gets the Eternal Tier and the Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss. In the manga, when Usagi got mad at the evil sailor senshi, she powered her attack up to the Silver Moon Crystal Power Therapy Kiss. That attack killed all of the senshi. But even Sailormoon's immense power could not stand up to Galaxia, and in the end, it was Usagi's great love of people that saved Galaxia.

My opinion: I really don't understand how people can not like Usagi. Sure she cries a lot, but she really grows up. But if you don't like Usagi, oh well, that's your problem. ^_^
